Curing compound

Concrete & Paving Materials
Curing compound A curing compound is a liquid product applied to freshly placed concrete to reduce moisture loss during the curing process. Proper curing helps concrete develop its intended strength and durability.

Concrete continues to gain strength after placement as cement reacts with water. If moisture evaporates too quickly, the finished concrete may become weaker or more prone to surface cracking. Curing compounds create a temporary protective film that helps retain moisture when continuous water curing is not practical.
