Crazing

Common Defects & Damage Types
Crazing Crazing is a network of very fine, shallow surface cracks that creates a pattern resembling a spider web. It usually affects only the top layer of hardened concrete.

Crazing commonly develops when the concrete surface dries more quickly than the material beneath it during curing. The condition is generally cosmetic and does not usually reduce structural strength. However, severe crazing may make the surface more susceptible to weathering and moisture over time.
