Corrective action means matching the fix to what DOT actually cited — replacing only the flags marked on the Preliminary Inspection Report, to current construction specifications, rather than doing a partial patch that could fail re-inspection. Acceptable corrective action generally requires full-depth concrete work, proper joints, and correct slope, since surface-only patching is itself one of the defect categories DOT cites under Administrative Code § 19-152. Getting this right the first time avoids a second round of permits and inspection fees.
