Once a property is officially calendared, it enters a protective legal status while the commission conducts hearings and reviews to make its final designation decision. During this interim period, any proposed sidewalk paving, curb cuts, or structural repairs must be submitted to the LPC for review to prevent the loss of historically significant streetscape features. Property owners must coordinate closely with both the DOT and the LPC to ensure any urgent sidewalk safety repairs remain fully compliant.
